As mentioned before fashion embroidery was the foundation of Embroidery by Design and below are some images of the work we have undertaken in the past.

 The image on the left shows how two different colour fabrics have been used to give a contrast finish.

This is a process call appliqué where the base fabric is covered by the appliqué and then cut to shape by hand, The whole design is the stitched onto the appliqué and the base fabric.
