Zorro's cape was embroidered by Embroidery by Design for the wax work figure of Antonio Banderas, as the starring role of “The Mask of Zorro”.

It was done for the forthcoming Madame Tussuad's attraction in Hollywood, opening in the summer of 2009.

So if you happen to be visiting the attraction, you will know who created the embroidery piece!

 

Gold thread

The cape was embroidered in an antique gold lurex thread.

Large size

The main back embroidered was 1000mm by 750mm

 

 

Whole edge

The embroidered design had to follow the whole edge length of the cape, where the diameter of the piece was approximately 5 meters.
